Coming to college, FNAR 264 was the first dabble into graphic design, a class which heavily influenced me to pursue digital arts after having been focused on more traditional mediums such as painting and drawing.
Sound & Image I chose to focus on the sound of an operating train running over the tracks. Only black and white were allowed to be used.
Beware of the GMO! The goal was to create a warning sign tackling an issue. I chose to focus on GMOs.
Italo Calvino's "Invisible Cities", The city of Andria From Calvino's novel, we chose one city to portray. An excerpt from the text describes the city:
"....Andria was built so artfully that its every street follows a planet's orbit, and the buildings and the places of community life repeat the order of the constellations and the position of the most luminous stars:   Antares, Alpheratz, Capricorn, the Cepheids.   The city's calendar is so regulated that jobs and offices and ceremonies are arranged in a map corresponding to the firmament on that date: and thus the days on earth and the nights in the sky reflect each other."
